Collection: Patio Awnings

Turn your patio into a space you can actually use all day. Awntech patio awnings come in retractable and fixed styles, so you can choose shade that rolls out when you want it or a permanent cover that stays put year round. Retractable models run from 8 to 24 ft wide, with manual or motorized operation and more than 40 fabric colors.

Retractable or fixed?

Retractable patio awnings give you shade on demand and roll back in when you want sun or bad weather is coming. Fixed metal patio awnings, like our standing seam styles, give you permanent coverage over a back door, walkway, or patio with no moving parts.

Built to last

Our fabric awnings use 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic that resists fading, mildew, and water. Frames are aluminum and steel with stainless steel hardware, and every awning is backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Awntech awnings are made in the USA with domestic and imported materials.

Easy to install

Retractable awnings ship fully assembled and mount to wood, brick, stucco, stone, metal, or concrete. Most installs take 1 to 2 hours with two people. Wall, roof, and soffit brackets are available if your patio needs a different mounting point.

Patio awning FAQs

What size awning do I need for my patio?
Measure the width of the area you want covered and pick the closest width. Projection is how far the awning extends from the wall, and most patios do well with a 10 ft projection.

Can I motorize a patio awning?
Yes. Our motorized models include a remote, and you can add a wireless wind sensor that retracts the awning automatically in high wind.

Do you offer fixed patio covers?
Yes. Our fixed metal awnings work as permanent patio covers and never need to be retracted.
