We began as a family business in Texas, founded by a husband and wife who saw an opportunity to simplify an outdated process. For too long, getting an awning meant weeks of back-and-forth with middlemen, long lead times, and confusing custom quotes. So we built something different: a way for customers to choose their size, color, and model themselves online, and receive a fully engineered, high-quality awning delivered straight to their door.
That idea changed the industry. We became the first company to standardize awning sizes across the U.S., the first to ship fully assembled retractable awnings, and the first to create modular fixed awnings that install easily — no welding, no waiting.
Today, we continue to lead with that same spirit of innovation. Every Awntech product is crafted from commercial-grade materials like mill-finished or powder-coated aluminum and steel frames, and 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric — the same premium textile used by top global mills with more than 150 years of heritage. We never use polyester, and we never cut corners.

Our Company provides a simple awning framework with step by step instructions and packaging styles making it easy for our customers to assemble each awning in a timely manner without hiring extra help from contractors and spending that extra money.
2. Energy Saving
Our customers can expect a high return on their investment as our Beauty-Mark fabrics absorb unwanted shine and heat that creeps through windows of homes and buildings. In many cases, our Beauty-Mark fabrics can act as alternative to an air conditioner and helps reduce that daunting energy bill.
