LTL (LESS-THAN-TRUCKLOAD) – 10’+ Wide Awnings
All retractable awnings 10′ wide or greater are required to ship LTL (less-than-truckload).
Curbside delivery- Please review the Delivery tab for instructions on how to efficiently unload the awning from the delivery truck.
The carrier will directly reach out to the phone number, provided at order check out, to schedule a delivery appointment.
Signature is required at time of delivery.
SMALL PARCEL (UPS GROUND/FEDEX GROUND) – 8′ Wide or Smaller Awnings
All retractable awnings 8′ wide or smaller are required to ship small parcel.
No signature required – shipment will be left at the recipient’s door.
FULLY ASSEMBLED SHIPMENT
Your awning will ship as a single fully assembled unit in a carton that spans the width of the awning (up to 24’ Wide). Please review the Delivery tab herein for more information on how to handle this shipment once it arrives at your doorstep.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES FOR CANADA, HAWAII, ALASKA, AND US TERRITORIES
Due to an increase in freight charges, customers shipping to any of these locations are required to pay additional shipping/handling charges.

Canada International: Canadian shipments will also be responsible for Canadian brokerage fees and taxes.
COVID-19 POTENTIAL DELAY NOTICE
The health and safety of all our team members is our number one priority. Recently, procedures and policies have been put into place as a result of COVID-19 that results in slower handling time. We appreciate your patience while we keep our warehouse and shipping partners safe. Please allow some extra time for your order to arrive as we have been advised by our shipping partners. As warned by our shipping partners, shipping lead times can be as long as four weeks.

Small Parcel Shipments:
Fixed metal awning orders with quantities of 6 or less items
Fixed fabric awning order with quantities of 5 or less items

All wind sensors ship separately. Wind sensors ordered with an awning will be pre-paired. Wind sensors bought separately from the awning will not be pre-paired (pairing instructions will be included).

Fixed fabric awning orders with quantities of 6+ are palletized

TYPE OF DELIVERY: Small Parcel Porch Drop-Off Delivery
No signature required: The shipment will be left at the recipient’s door.
Delivery days: Monday through Saturday (delivery hours may vary and are subject to the carrier assigned at the time of shipment). Most carriers are off during major US holidays.
TYPE OF DELIVERY: LTL Curbside Delivery
Appointment Required: Once your goods reach the final (last mile) terminal, the carrier will directly reach out to the phone number provided at order checkout. The carrier will attempt to schedule a delivery appointment using this number. Please ensure the number provided is active/accurate at checkout.
Delivery: The carrier will bring the package(s) to your address, pull the truck up to the front of your home or business, take the package(s) off the truck, and place the package(s) onto the sidewalk in front of your house or business. The driver may request assistance from the customer upon delivery. Retrieving the item and placing it to the desired location of our home or business may require the assistance of 2 or more helpers.

LTL INSPECTIONS FOR DAMAGE
Prior to Delivery
Before off-loading your awning from the delivery truck, take a moment to fully inspect the exterior and interior of the goods.
If the exterior or interior contents of your package appear damaged, immediately make notations on the delivery receipt and refuse the shipment. Following these steps will help expedite the return, refund, and reorder process (if applicable) with Awntech.
For missing parts or pieces of the awning received, the customer must notify Awntech within 30 days of receipt. Failure to notify Awntech within the 30-day period will void warranty replacements for missing pieces. It is strongly recommended that customers fully inspect the contents of the package for damaged or missing pieces as soon as the awning is received.
Carriers can experience delivery delays. Please wait to schedule appointments with your contractor / installer until the item is delivered and fully inspected for damages (see above).
Note: Contractors / installers are not required for assembly and installation. This product is a Do-It-Yourself product and can be assembled and installed by 2 or more people that are skilled and handy.
Ordering Notes:For delivery purposes, please provide a phone number so the delivery driver can call when your order is ready to be delivered. If you do not feel comfortable providing that information, you may call Awntech at 800-203-7049 or 800-200-5997 to check on delivery dates, times or changes to your order.
You can only return a product without recourse if it is defective upon arrival. If you simply do not like the product, or if you did not measure correctly, you will only be qualified for a merchandise credit and you will be required to pay for shipping the product back to Awntech in re-stock condition. There will be a 25% restock fee applicable once your goods have shipped. Customers have up to 30 days from delivery to return their product, otherwise they will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. Customized awnings (dimensions outside of Awntech’s standard offerings) and fixed awnings over 10ft wide cannot be returned and will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein.
Customers have 24 hours after placing their order to request an order cancellation, otherwise a 10% order cancellation fee will be applied. As stated in our return policy, if the order is cancelled after the order has shipped, a 25% restock fee will be applied.
