Description
The Wind Sensor is an optional safety add on that helps protect your motorized retractable awning on breezy days. It monitors wind activity and automatically signals the awning to retract when the preset threshold is reached, reducing strain on the fabric and arms and offering extra peace of mind when weather shifts unexpectedly.
This model includes three adjustable wind speed settings and communicates wirelessly with your awning’s motor. Setup is simple: mount the sensor within 10 feet of the awning, choose your preferred sensitivity level, and let it work quietly in the background.
Compatible with: Awntech motorized awnings. Not compatible with manual awnings.
Note: This model also includes a Sun Sensor. Keep the sun setting at “0” to avoid interference with wind detection. Wind sensors provide added protection, but awnings should never be left open while unattended.

RETURNS: You can only return a product without recourse if it is defective upon arrival. If you simply do not like the product, or if you did not measure correctly, you will only be qualified for a merchandise credit and you will be required to pay for shipping the product back to Awntech in re-stock condition. A 25% restock fee applies once your goods have shipped.
Customers have up to 30 days from delivery to return their product. After 30 days, items will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. Customized awnings (dimensions outside of Awntech’s standard offerings) cannot be returned and qualify only for warranty replacements.
CANCELLATIONS: Customers have 24 hours after placing their order to request a cancellation. After 24 hours, a 10% order cancellation fee will be applied. If the order is cancelled after it has shipped, a 25% restock fee will apply in accordance with our return policy.
DAMAGED MATERIAL: Damage occasionally occurs during shipping. Scrapes, dents, or rips in the outer packaging that may indicate possible product damage should be described to the carrier at the time of delivery. If damage to the product is apparent, the shipment should be refused. Concealed shipping damages must be reported within 5 days of receiving the awning.
