My wife and I ordered 3 Dallas Retro Style Awnings and are quite pleased with the outcome. Not too difficult to assemble and mount. The fabric looks great and we've received numerous compliments. I needed to modify one of the awnings to accomodate mounting to a brick facade and was able to do that with not much trouble. The only small complaint I have is that the velcro strip stitched on one of the fabric awnings was off the mark by an inch making it nearly impossible to stretch all the way to fit the front bar. Fortunately, enough of the receiver strip was able to latch on so the awning doesnt fly off in a wind gust. But it was close! I ordered and installed a Destin 14'X10' retractable awning and absolutely love it.  The awning has been in place for 3 years now and has performed flawlessly, and is of excellent quality.  Even better, I just ordered a vibration sensor to have the awning automatically retract when I'm not present, and the customer service from Patty was just as great as when I ordered the awning. We are very happy with both the quality of the product and responsiveness of the service. I initially ordered the wrong size and had to return for correct size. Patricia and Tech support were very accommodating, made the process easy, They unsolicited, offered to reduce the expediting fee, which was very appreciated. Very good quality to price ratio, we saved much time (months) and THOUSANDS vs. local installers. Highly recommend! We are quite pleased with the look of our new awning. My wife loves all things French and we were looking for the perfect accent for our entrance. This gives us that charming look and feel of being on a small, narrow street outside of Paris, France. I had some questions regarding the specific measurements of our model awning and customer service was quick to help. When it came time to actually install the fabric into the frame, once again, customer service had the helpful suggestion that turned what could have been a frustrating process into a "piece of cake". Our awning is well designed, well built and we anticipate it lasting for years...and they sell replacement fabric awnings to either change the look or replace it once it gets worn looking from years of continuous exposure. We have a south facing deck that gets very hot in the sun. This heats our house even with the blinds down. We ordered 16' and 14' motorized Maui oatmeal tweed Awntech awnings and we are extremely happy! We can keep the blinds up now (for the view and nice filtered light) and is far cooler on the deck and inside the house. We ordered the optional soffit/eve brackets and mounted these to the end of our rafter beams (that I quickly power-sanded flat and put a 1"x3" wood mounting pad to lower a bit to clear the rain gutter). My wife and I put the awnings into the brackets without drama! FYI: We ordered the motors to be in the middle (left 16' and right 14') which gave a 7" gap between awning fabrics. If you order to have the motors at the outer ends (when you have two awnings side-by-side), then you would have a 5" gap between the two awning fabrics. The in and out motor stops were already set good at Awntech. It was pretty straight forward to adjust the level of the awnings to match each other.

our front door is unprotected and boring. We needed some dimension.  I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money seeing this is not my forever house. I love straight lines and I found the perfect awning that really added to my house. The structure is pretty simple but classy. We did not have any issues putting the awning up on the house thanks to the great directions provided and short videos to assist.
I am So happy with this item
